Goderich Raises Flag for Air Cadet Week

The town of Goderich raised the flag celebrating Air Cadets Week on Friday.

Goderich Mayor Trevor Bazinet says the first Air Cadet Week was celebrated last year. Bazinet says the Air Cadets are very active in the community and they make valuable contributions to society on a daily basis. Bazinet also points out, all young people are not interested in sports, but through the Air Cadet program they promote many of the same values like leadership, citizenship, team work. Team work skills and many experiences not found anywhere else. Bazinet says he attended the Air Cadets 45th Annual Review and was really amazed by what he saw.
