Collision Ends With Vehicle On Railway Tracks In Goderich

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police has charged a youth from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township following a single motor vehicle collision on November 23rd in the Town of Goderich.

Just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 23rd Huron County OPP received a report of a collision involving an automobile on Maitland Road North in Goderich.

Huron County OPP, Goderich Fire Department, and Huron County EMS attended the scene and discovered that a vehicle had left the roadway and landed on the roof, coming to rest across the railway tracks. The two occupants had exited the vehicle uninjured. 

A 17-year-old youth from ACW Township has been charged with Dangerous Operation.

The accused was later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Youth Court of Justice - Goderich on January 2nd, 2025.
