Robbery In Goderich – Several Suspects Charged
The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a robbery that took place on August 9th, 2024, at a location near Parson's Court in Goderich.
On Friday, August 9th, just after 7:00 p.m. Huron County OPP received information that a robbery had taken place in a wooded area near Parson's Court between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. One person was assaulted while their personal belongings were stolen and damaged. The suspects used a metal object to assault the victim, then fled the area on foot. The victim was able to identify three of the four suspects who were later located by police and taken into custody. Charges have been laid against the following individuals:
Chad ANDERSON, 33 years of age from no fixed address has been charged with the following offences:
Robbery with a Weapon
Assault with a Weapon
Mischief, Destroys or Damages Property
Theft Under $5,000
The accused was processed at the Huron OPP detachment and later released. The accused is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on the 23rd of September.
Kristopher FABER, 43 years of age from Goderich has been charged with the following offences:
Robbery with a Weapon
Assault with a Weapon
Mischief, Destroys or Damages Property
Theft Under $5,000
The accused was processed at the Huron OPP detachment and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody.
Michael PELLY, 42 years of age from Goderich has been charged with the following offences:
Robbery with a Weapon
Assault with a Weapon
Mischief, Destroys or Damages Property
Theft Under $5,000
Fail to Comply with Probation.
The accused was processed at the Huron OPP detachment and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody.
