Owners of Three Circle K Locations Won the Top Award at Friday Night's Chamber of Commerce Spirit of Success Awards Gala

The winners of this year's Goderich, Central and North Huron Chamber of Commerce Spirit of Success Award were best friends Gurpreet Singh and Harpreet Singh. Gurpreet says they came to Canada in April of 2015. He explains there weren't many opportunities for jobs in India so they decided to study in Canada and by the time they had completed their studies they found that the people in Canada were very welcoming and they liked it here so they decided to stay and find jobs here.
They both said they had a lot to learn when they came to Canada. Back in India their parents supported them and provided whatever they needed. They started from scratch in Canada and had to learn a lot as they were starting their new life here. And they both say that was a great experience for them.
They now own three Circle K stores, one in Lucknow, one in Wingham and one in Clinton and they have a total of ten employees in the three stores. They say they do have winter in India, but no snow. The temperature seldom gets below plus five. They both say snow looks very nice as long as you don't have to drive in it.
