by Bob Montgomery

As part of their 40th anniversary celebrations, MicroAge Basics has pledged $25,000 to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation’s Caring Together campaign to fund a new CT Scanner.

MicroAge Basics is a family-owned office supply store with locations in Wingham, Goderich and Kincardine. MicroAge Basics has been a long-time supporter of the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation by sponsoring and participating in events. This new donation reaffirms their reputation as a community-minded organization dedicated to giving back to the communities they serve.

Co-Owner Erin Peet was joined by her partners in presenting the donation. “As a member of the new group of owners who took over four years ago, we are proud to make this donation and carry on the 40 year long tradition of supporting the communities who have supported us”.

“The staff at MicroAge Basics in Wingham are always a pleasure to work with,” says WDH Foundation Executive Director Nicole Duquette. “Having their support with this generous gift is really special. We’re honoured to be part of their 40th anniversary celebrations. Congratulations on this huge milestone”.

Donations to the Caring Together campaign go towards bringing a net new CT Scanner to the Wingham & District Hospital. Having an on-site CT Scanner will reduce travel time and delays making emergency care faster and safer. To learn more or donate visit www.wdhfoundation.ca
