Kinectrics Supports Wingham & District Hospital Foundation’s Caring Together Campaign

by Bob Montgomery

Kinectrics Inc has pledged to donate $75,000 over the next three years to support the Caring Together Campaign, a community-based fundraiser for the purchase of a CT scanner for the Wingham & District Hospital.

The Caring Together campaign goal is to raise $2.5 million to advance digital imaging and offer best practices for patient care. On March 7th, Kinectrics’ John D’Angelo and Nancy MacDonald Exel visited the Wingham & District Hospital and had the opportunity to speak to key members of the organization about the importance of implementing this vital service at the hospital, as well as current funding priorities.

“Kinectrics is proud to support the Caring Together campaign, which will help enhance care for the community and expand on the digital imaging services being offered” said John D’Angelo, Chief Nuclear Officer at Kinectrics. “By making a CT Scanner available on site, more patients will be able to receive the high-quality care they deserve locally and further enhance the hospital services.”

Hospital Foundation Executive Director Nicole Duquette-Jutzi says they are grateful to the team at Kinectrics for their generosity. “This gift to the CT Scanner will play a key role in the well-being of our hospital and community. The support from Kinectrics will have a positive impact on the care received by patients throughout the entire region”.
