Clinton will be hosting Harvest Festival on September 16th

Central Huron Community Improvement Coordinator Angela Smith says the event is a large family oriented street festival. She says they'll all sort of fun and games for children and teens including bouncie castles, axe throwing, live music an antique car show and a vendors market. All of the things they've had in previous years and more. But Smith says what's about this year is that we will have a sensory friendly zone and that is a quiet area for those that need to take a little break from the action and the busyness of the event. Smith says the sensory friendly zone will give families the chance to take a little break and then come back and enjoy the fun rather than have to go home.

Smith says the sensory friendly zone will be in Millennium Park on Albert Street, right behind the food truck when people are here. There is a quiet room and an accessible washroom and it will be open to anyone to use who needs a little break.

Smith says the Harvest Festival will run from eleven until four on Saturday, September 16th.
