Break And Enter In Brussels 

On August 31, 2024, at approximately 5:18 a.m., the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the area of the Brussels, Morris-Grey Community Centre at 800 Sports Drive in Brussels.

Officers learned that an individual broke into a home in the area and departed after a resident confronted the individual. The individual is described as:

  • White male

  • Approximately 40 years old

  • 6 feet tall

  • Heavy build

  • Light brown or orange coloured stubble on his face

  • Wearing a partial, dark face covering

Investigators believe the suspect may have been involved in additional suspicious person occurrences in the Brussels area. The OPP is asking residents in the village of Brussels to check their video surveillance footage in the overnight of Friday, August 30th, into the early morning of Saturday, August 31st for any individual matching this description or vehicles observed in the area.
