Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority Board Approves Budget

by Bob Montgomery

The General Manager of the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority was pleased that the Board unanimously approved the budget for next year.

Brian Horner says the budget called for an increase of 2.7 percent over last year. Horner says the Conservation Authority is facing the same challenges that everyone is right now so he was pleased with the 2.7 percent increase. Horner also notes that all of the projects that they've included in the 2024 budget were, one way or another, introduced in the five-year forecast that they presented back in July, so they're happy that they were all approved.
