A Huron County Christmas Carol Back by Popular Demand at the Blyth Festival

by Bob Montgomery

The Blyth Festival is bringing back the Huron County Christmas Carol this year.

General Manager Rachael King says the Huron County Christmas Carol is based on the Dicken's Classic but is adapted and directed by Blyth Festival Artistic Director Gil Garratt, with original songs and music by local musician and artist John Powers. King says the Huron County Christmas Carol features a cast of seven actor musicians who all bring their unique talents to the stage in presenting a very Huron County specific holiday classic.

King says the Huron County Christmas Carol was the last thing presented on the Blyth Festival stage in 2019, before COVID showed up, and it sold out and they're very happy to be bringing it back this year. King says tickets can be purchased by going to the Blyth Festival website or calling the box office or for anyone who happens to be in Blyth, the box office is open from nine til five from Monday to Friday.
