United Way Perth Huron Launches 2023 Campaign

By Bob Montgomery

United Way Perth Huron will launch this years campaign this Friday at the Connection Centre in South Huron from noon until one-thirty.

United Way Community Development Manager Michelle Millar says the Lunch N’ Learn - Feels Like Home event will kick off their Campaign and bring the community together for a Chinese Lunch. Millar adds it’s a great networking opportunity and an opportunity to learn more about United Way’s local work and hear from local social service workers about their work with the vulnerable population since the Connection Centre has opened.

Millar says it's also a chance to see what the Connection Centre looks like, how they could refer someone to the Connection Centre and what they can do when they see someone who is homeless or in need of support. Tickets are still available until noon today by purchasing them online at https://perthhuron.unitedway.ca/southern-huron-exeter-lunch-n-learn/
