The Lake Huron Centre For Coastal Conservation Is Hiring

The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation is looking for a Stewardship Program Coordinator.
Executive Director Alyssa Bourassa, says the ideal candidate should have a passion for coastal conservation, project management skills and the ability to educate the public on Lake Huron related issues. The successful candidate will coordinate and deliver the Coastal Centre's programming, such as their Coast Watchers Community Science program and shoreline clean-up initiatives, while also supporting youth education and beach dune restoration efforts.
It will be a remote position with field work in Goderich and along the Sarnia to Tobermory shoreline. It will be a full-time, one year contract, ideally beginning at the end of March and the deadline to apply is March 10th. Bourassa says the ideal candidate would have an environmental science background, a fundraising background, technical skills related to Great Lakes Science would also be an asset. They should be university graduates, ideally masters graduates, but that's not a requirement.
