Serious Assault And Robbery In Wingham - Two Suspects Arrested And Charged
Huron County Ontario Provincial Police Major Crime Unit is investigating a serious assault and robbery that took place on Minnie Street in the Town of Wingham, Township of North Huron on Saturday October 5th of this year.
On October 5th, at 7:30 p.m. , Huron County OPP officers located an adult victim in Wingham who reported to police that they had been assaulted. Police investigated the incident and have subsequently arrested and charged two individuals as follows:
Brody GRUMMETT-NAIRN, 29 years of age of North Huron has been charged with:
- Aggravated Assault,
- Robbery with Violence.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing where he was remanded into custody awaiting a further court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
Morgan GRUMMETT-NAIRN, 24 years of age of North Huron has been charged with:
- Aggravated Assault,
- Robbery with Violence,
- Obstruct Peace Officer.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing where he was remanded into custody awaiting a further court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
