See Bruce County History Come to Life on Family Day at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre

by Bob Montgomery

Bruce County history will come to life this Family Day (Monday February 19th) at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre with interactive live theatre shows by award-winning theatre company Live History.

Guests will journey back through time as they travel through the museum’s exhibits, reaching five different checkpoints along the way. Each checkpoint will have its own local historical character in costume who will present guests with a variety of different puzzles and quests to solve. The clock is ticking, with a one-hour time limit to conquer your selected challenges!
Shows will run throughout the day from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, happening every 15 minutes. Each show takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. The show is suitable for everyone, from school-age children to adults. The Museum will also have drop-in improv classes led by professional acting coaches Leo Dragonieri and Julia Scaringi.

Southampton Rotary Club will be on site offering a BBQ lunch from 11:00 AM. Cash and debit are accepted.
