NHL Hockey Heroes And Central Huron Firefighters Face-Off In Support Of Huron Hospice

On Saturday, March 15th at the Eastlink Arena in Clinton former NHL hockey players will suit up against Central Huron Firefighters in a Benefit Celebrity Hockey Game supporting the Central Huron Firefighters’ Charity of Choice, Huron Hospice.
The Central Huron Firefighters will face off against a full line-up of former NHL hockey heroes. The NHL roster includes, Dave McLlwain, Gary Leeman, Matt Martin, Dave Reid, Mike Zigomanis, Bernie Nicholls, Mike Krushelnyski, Larry Murphy, Dwayne Hay and Jamie Wright.
This fantastic community event promises lots of skill and lots of laughs and is guaranteed to be a fun and memorable event for all ages. The puck will drop in Clinton at 7:30 PM. Doors open at 6:45 PM. The event usually sells out, so you want to be early to get a good seat.
This game is in support of Huron Hospice. For 30 years, families have turned to Huron Hospice to make moments matter at the end-of-life. Huron Hospice provides care in the community for people with life-limiting illnesses and at Bender House. Huron Hospice also provides loss and grief support for children, youth and adults. Last year 72 people died at the Bender House Hospice. The home support team worked with 87 individuals in their homes and 89 participated in the loss grief and bereavement program. Proceeds from fundraising and events like the hockey game ensure that there are no costs for any hospice services. Huron Hospice is a place where families celebrate lives lived.
