Museum Fundraising Event Brings Huron County History To Life
by Bob Montgomery
Program and Community Engagement Coordinator Jim Coseale says the Huron County Museum will be presenting an Immersive Historical Experience for adults and kids of all ages this Saturday.
He explains, the group known as Live History will present a very unique program, similar to an historical re-enactment performed in an escape room. Three actors will be dressed up as historical figures from Huron County history. One is CKNX founder Doc Cruikshank, and another is the Poetess of Huron Eloise Skimmings, and the third remains a mystery for now. People who buy tickets will be able to go through this escape room and complete escape room-style tasks, challenges and puzzles to help these characters get back to their own time.
Coseale says the presentation will take about an hour for a group to go through. It starts at 10:30 on Saturday morning, and the final group will start around 5:30 in the afternoon.
Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite, or a link can be found on the Huron County Museum website.
