Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance Board Of Directors Welcomes New Chair, Vice-Chair, Two New Directors And Eight Community Members To Board Committees

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) Board of Directors welcomed a new chair, vice-chair, two new directors, and eight community members to board committees at its recent 2023/2024 Annual Members Meeting.

John Wilkinson was elected chair of the Alliance’s Board of Directors. Franklin Famme, CPA, CA, Partner at Famme & Company Professional Corporation and Bill Whetstone, Commercial Lead, Bruce Power, and Municipality of Bluewater Bayfield Ward Councillor were elected to the Alliance’s Board of Directors. Sincere thanks were extended at the meeting to departing board members Gary Austin and Joe Looby, who was also treasurer, for their stellar service and contributions while on the board.

Following the Annual Members Meeting, the board held its 2024/2025 Organizational Meeting where Greg Stewart and John Wilkinson were subsequently elected vice-Chair and chair of the board. Franklin Famme was elected as treasurer.

John Wilkinson has been a member of the volunteer HPHA Board of Directors since 2021, most recently serving as vice-chair. He assumed the role of chair after Stephen Hearn completed his 2-year term in June 2024. Vice-Chair Greg Stewart has been on the HPHA Board since 2021. He's a lawyer with Donnelly Murphy Lawyers where he practices primarily in the areas of municipal, planning, employment, civil litigation and corporate law. 

Eight community members were also introduced at the Annual Members Meeting as having been recently appointed by the board to the HPHA’s Board Committees. They are St. Marys & Area’s Joe Adams, John Bolton, and Elizabeth Hill, Clinton & Area’s Kevin Hulley and Michael Stilwell, Seaforth & Area’s Wendy Hutton and Richard Seip, and Stratford & Area’s Emma Vigil.
