Huron Chamber To Facilitate Town of Goderich Strategic Action Plan Community Townhall in November

by Bob Montgomery

The Huron Chamber of Commerce will be facilitating the upcoming “Town of Goderich Strategic Action Plan Community Townhall Information Session.”

This session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Huron County Museum Auditorium (110 North St, Goderich). Residents are invited to engage directly with the town council to share feedback and help shape the future of Goderich.

The Chamber previously hosted the townhall in May and it offered a valuable opportunity for the community to connect with town council and provide input on the Strategic Action Plan .

Council is to be commended for their ongoing commitment to engaging residents in this collaborative process, ensuring that the Strategic Action Plan remains aligned with the community’s aspirations. This townhall will continue the progress made in May and serve as a platform for the ongoing development of the Strategic Action Plan, the town’s guiding document for sustainable growth and progress.

This townhall provides a key opportunity for residents to influence the ongoing implementation of the Strategic Action Plan. All town council members will be present, listening to public input on the plan’s objectives. This session will focus on strategic goals rather than operational concerns, maintaining a clear focus on long-term priorities.

Town council is committed to this process, and all community members are encouraged to participate in the event on November 27th that will help shape a Goderich that reflects the aspirations and values of its residents, while fostering engagement across Huron County.
